CHICAGO – (October 15, 2024) – Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® hosted top real estate professionals from 29 countries at its recent Global Symposium in Budapest, Hungary. The prestigious event allowed global experts to share valuable insights, strengthen connections, and address key trends in the evolving real estate landscape. Participants were members and guests of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE), a select network that connects high quality real estate firms from 70+ countries worldwide.
According to LeadingRE President of Global Operations Chris Dietz, the Awards Gala was a highlight of the event. “As a network focused on delivering quality services across all sectors of the real estate market – residential, commercial, and relocation – we are thrilled to recognize and celebrate excellence and achievement,” Dietz said.
Awards were presented by LeadingRE Chairman of the Board Whitney Finn-LaCosta, Howard Hanna | Coach Realtors (Northport, New York U.S.) in a variety of categories.
Kemika and Marek Fedorov, Roof21 (Pattaya, Thailand) received the prestigious Global Leadership Award, recognizing their leadership and generosity in sharing time and talent to advance LeadingRE’s global strength and growth.
The Global Ambassador Award was presented to four members who were celebrated for their active participation in LeadingRE on many levels, their promotion of the network worldwide, and their service as role models for other members: James Balistreri, Balistreri Real Estate (Boca Raton, Florida U.S.); Michael Mabutol, Pinnacle Real Estate Consulting Services, Inc. (Makati City, Philippines); Francesco Papurello, Stresa Luxury Real Estate (Stresa, Italy); and Thomas Zabel, Savills Residential Agency Germany (Berlin, Germany).
Savills Residential Agency Germany (Berlin, Germany) won the Global Referral Production Award for the second consecutive year for sending the most outgoing referrals among network companies outside of North America.
Savoir Privé Properties (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) earned the Referral Accelerator Award for its commitment to increasing referral awareness and assisting clients outside their market through introductions to fellow members.
ORIA Real Estate Advisors (Lisbon, Portugal) received the Rising Star Award for being most engaged from the first day of membership in Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®.
Soneva Villa Ownership (The Maldives) won the inaugural Destinations by LeadingRE Best Sustainable Luxury Award in recognition of their exemplary efforts in developing projects that have a positive environmental, social, and economic impact without sacrificing luxury.
Elounda Hills by Mirum Hellas S.A. (Crete, Greece) earned the inaugural Destinations by LeadingRE Best New Development Launch for creating the most bespoke and integrated resort in Crete, Greece and announcing the launch of the first-ever Ralph Lauren branded residence.
International Property Agent (Tokyo, Japan) received the inaugural Commercial Deal of the Year for achieving the most significant Commercial Real Estate deal working within the LeadingRE Commercial network. The award was presented in recognition of firm’s $6.5 million dollar commercial property sold in Dallas.
In addition to the Awards Gala and robust educational sessions, participants enjoyed networking functions and exploring the beautiful host city through organized tours and a spectacular closing event, offering the perfect conclusion to a week of learning, growth, and collaboration.
