Renaissance villa of the Venetian nobleman Francesco Foscolo dating back to the 14th century with a park of approx. 17,000 square meters which extends to the Sile river and has a private mooring. The building that form villa is divided into two well-defined parts: villa itself and barchessa.
The villa is arranged in three floors with a total area of approx. 1,270 square meters.
The supporting structure is in brick and has wooden floors.
The gable roof is made of wood and has recently been redone.
The interior finishes are typical of the Venetian house with pastellated floors on the ground floor to the attic.
All the ceilings are with exposed beams.
The internal walls are finished in lime (main rooms on the ground and first floor).
Remnants of frescoes are still present on some walls.
The windows are in wood with double glazing and the doors in solid wood.
Villa is equipped video intercom system connected to the gate, and alarm system, independent gas heating.
The barchessa is built with the same criteria as the villa for a total area of approx. 480 square meters.
The central part of the ridge corresponding to the internal area of the pool has a large glass skylight.
The pool measures 7.50 x 5.00 m and is equipped with a water heating system.
The entire barchessa building is heated by two fan coils.
The park
Villa is accessed through a tree-lined avenue; the wings are made up of high trunk native trees typical of the Venetian villas, arranged in parallel rows following the course of the East, South and West borders, which together form a large hemicycle in front of the villa, tended to with lawn and bounded by gravel paths.
In 2004 a small lake was built.
