A special charm of the midlands lies in the quaint nature of the countryside, where time seems to have stood still. This country estate is located just five minutes from the northern Zurich city limits. "Clairière de Chevaux" is situated on the edge of a forest area, in the middle of wide meadows and fields. The property now used as a horse farm, including a magnificent villa with an outdoor pool, a detached house with a barn, several stables, and acres of land. You can quickly reach the old village centre of Rümlang from the estate, with many shops and restaurants, as well as a primary and a secondary school just nearby. There are several– large supermarkets to choose from in the commercial area, where international companies have set up shop. And from the city train station, it takes only 14 minutes to get to Zurich's main railway station. The famous Jakob Gujer, known as “Kleinjogg” lived in the southern area of Rümlang. He was known for his experiments on farming methods from 1769 to 1785 and to this day, considered a pioneer of modern agriculture. The beautiful landscape of the Zürcher Unterland region is ideal for spontaneous excursions, swimming in the nearby Katzensee lake or golfing at the Otelfingen golf course. A courtyard with a fountain forms the elegant entrance to the villa and functions independently of the horse stud's uses. On the lower side of the estate, you can visit a terrace with a grand garden via the stairway, with a generous swimming pool. The interior of the villa features a spacious living room, including a fireplace and cosy lounge. The kitchen adjoins on the North side, and the master bedroom with a connecting bathroom on the West side. The basement and the attic offer a total of five children's or guest rooms, as well as further bathrooms. The villa is currently used as a separate 5-room flat. The other residential house with stables and barn, consist of a beautiful four-room flat, a stable with horse stalls as well as a barn for fodder and hay. The next-door stable building, built in 2008, accommodates numerous horse stalls, horse washing area, tack rooms, feed– and equipment rooms. The property also includes many other facilities, such as a 2.5-room staff or guest flat, additional horse stalls, a partially covered riding arena, a horse walker, and numerous exercise and lunging areas. The property is rounded off by three extensive parcels of land, which are currently used as paddocks. In "Clairière de Chevaux" you can perfectly fulfil your own imagination of a living and working - nature, tradition, and modernity to enter into a dreamy assembly.
