Located about an hour southeast of Zurich in the canton of Glarus, nestled between towering mountains, this house impressively combines luxury with a deep connection to nature. The unique property offers breathtaking views over Lake Walensee, and its bright, spacious rooms, along with the open architecture of the atelier space, create an atmosphere of freedom. The loft-style atelier room with underfloor heating is the heart of the house. In the grand living hall, with ceilings nearly five meters high, you can relax while enjoying the stunning views of nature or celebrate with family and friends by the fireplace. The high-quality kitchen is integrated into the open extension of the former heating room. Opposite, the dining area features a large dining table. Nearby, two tall glass doors open to the outdoor terrace, offering a spectacular view of Lake Walensee. On the south side of the atelier room, there is a cozy lounge, library, or office space. The master bedroom on the first floor is connected to the spacious bathroom through a walk-in closet. On the second floor are two rooms, which one is currently used as a study and the other includes an ensuite bathroom. The house is situated on a spacious plot with forests and grassland, featuring a garden, pond, and a viewing pavilion. The view stretches across the entire length of Lake Walensee to the peaks of the Alvier mountain range far to the east—a vast natural arena where the ever-changing sunlight and clouds take center stage.
