During its finest days, the hotel Les Castelets was considered as “the place to be”. It was one of the legendary places of St Barts. After suffering extensive damage during Hurricane Luis in 1995, the hotel was never restored, however the property still maintains a part of this prestigious history. Today this large property spans more than 3 acres and is unconstructed. A well maintained private road allows an easy access through the lush tropical vegetation to the top of the parcel. An existing first excavation has been made over different levels , allowing you to discover the true potential of this unique property. The exceptional location of Les Castelets boasts magnificent panoramic views overlooking the turquoise waters of St Jean bay, all of the West coast of St Barts with St Maarten on the horizon in the middle and to finish, the boats at anchorage around Gustavia harbour and the superb sunsets across the Caribbean Sea. This remarkable property is the perfect place for a spectacular architectural project. Les Castelets benefits from an extraordinary potential for construction. It has currently a valid building permit for a residential project of 3 individual villas designed by the architectural firm Architectonik. For more information, please contact us.
