Seldom do larger blocks like this come up so close to Kerikeri and the Bay of Islands. The farm is located just 5km from Okaihau township and only 23 minutes drive to Kerikeri. Estimated at around 170ha effective pasture, this block is well fenced to approximately 25 paddocks with mostly conventional fencing and some two to three wire electric. A loop track provides access around the farm and the property has its own metal pit. Contour is mainly medium hill with around 25% easy rolling and is currently running 120 breeding cows and 150 ewes. A feature of the property is a stony bottomed river which forms a picturesque entrance to the block. The scattered bush and totara also give the block a rich feel. There is a semi-volcanic plateau at the rear of the farm which backs onto a large Department of Conservation block covered in Manuka and providing opportunity for hunting pigs and/or honey.
