Pazo Lamelas, in the area of the Rias Baixas, is one of the most important buildings in Galician history, dating back to the end of the 17th century. It is situated on a hill overlooking southwest orientation toward the ocean, with beautiful views of the Cies Islands. The property measures a total of 3 hectares of private land surrounded by a masonry wall. Inside there is a chapel, a cellar, a granary, a tower and two water mines. The chapel has an entrance with a semicircular arch. At the top of the façade, there is a belfry topped by a stone cross. The three-story building is still habitable but in need of updating throughout. On the main floor, we find the living quarters with the kitchen area. The kitchen section, we will discover mosaic tile flooring dating back to the early 19th century. There are also unique pieces throughout the rest of the property that are also historic. Above this level, we find the sleeping area with five bedrooms, and here you have good-sized sections that can be easily converted into more living spaces or bigger bedrooms. The property itself is surrounded by forest land. Surrounding the manor, we have lovely exterior terraces, a vegetable garden and paths to enjoy. Listed property protected by the cultural Galician heritage foundation. Any renovations or planning permission would need to be presented to the foundation to get approved. Our in-house team specializes in well-known architects that work directly with the foundation to assist all our clients on the following steps to this future project. An ideal property for a property developer or investor looking to bring this property back to life again. Also, an entrepreneur looking to convert this property into a boutique hotel or small guest house.
