Cianderies Cortina D'ampezzo, Italy 32046

Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the heart of the Dolomites, UNESCO World Natural Heritage, in a wide valley surrounded by high peaks, is one of the most famous mountain in the world. Nestled in a wide valley of green meadows and woods, between Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, the "Queen of the Dolomites" is surrounded by high mountains distinctively rosy colors of rocks: Antelao, Sorapis, Croda da Lago, Croda Rossa, Tofane and Cristallo, Dolomites mountains of rare beauty. One step from the center of Cortina, in the exclusive area of Cianderies there is this beautiful villa, built in the early twentieth century and restored by the famous architect Luigi Vietti, the inventor of the "Cortina style".

The interior design is the work of Francesca Anderson, decorator established internationally. The villa is a little gem in the countryside. The area is one of the most prestigious in the Valle d 'Ampezzo is closed as the trees that provide privacy: a' simple architecture, two floors, a basement and an attic. The entrance to the villa opens onto a foyer and then go into a very large living room, on two conversation areas and a small study. The living room down in the basement where the dining room, open to the garden. A wooden staircase leads to the sleeping area where there are the guest rooms and the master suite consists of a bedroom, a dressing room and a sitting room. The attic consists of two bedrooms.

The interiors of the villa are completely covered with wood paneling of the eighteenth century, the floors are planks of fir, the “applique” wrought iron work of the master Cortina Giancarlo Candeago and cabinets century Tyrolean have wedding scenes painted in the backgrounds of the doors.
