Situated quietly at the rear of Justin Avenue, a series of thoughtfully designed, people-centric urban dwellings, Townhouse 4 comprises a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 118 sqm internal area plus 37sqm of external space and an off street car space. Through a collaboration between Excelon Projects, Atlas Architects and Arcadia Sustainable Design, Justin Avenue is underpinned by a desire to create beautiful, practical homes that nurture meaningful connection between neighbours and nature.A collection of only four homes, Justin Avenue strives to deviate from the prevalent layout of suburban housing developments that are often dominated by internal garages and concrete driveways. With Justin Avenue, Atlas Architects explores a progressive residential typology that promotes meaningful social interactions among its residents. By eliminating internal garages, a central communal garden has been created, surrounded by a small hamlet of four modern townhouses. In collaboration with Arcadia Sustainable Design, the development is further brought to life through extensive landscaping, creating a comfortable setting for the community to flourish. The design for Justin Avenue includes raised edible gardens, which will nourish the local community and help children to explore their relationship between food and its origin. The communal garden serves as the heart of Justin Avenue, featuring vegetable patches, outdoor seating, and other amenities that promote community engagement by encouraging interaction with neighbours.Plants are sustainably selected to suit the Australian climate, which reduces water consumption by minimising irrigation requirements. Situated thirteen kilometres north of the Melbourne CBD and merely fifteen minute drive away from the Tullamarine airport, Glenroy is home to a mix of different cultures, contributing to a vibrant and inclusive neighbourhood. The area features a range of shops, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants, providing convenient options for daily needs and dining experiences. Also a short walk away is the Glenroy Train Station, which makes commuting to the Melbourne CBD and other surrounding suburbs a breeze. The four townhouses at Justin Avenue will have no shortage of amenities, including parks, playgrounds, and an off-leash area to foster quality memories with family, children, and pets.
