This 15th century house has been home to a hotel for more than 40 years that has found a home with the region's regular clientele. The views of the square and the fortress, together with the choice of furnishings, make this place a timeless haven of peace.
From the first floor, the reception hall announces the care taken in the decoration in a style in keeping with the old charm of the building, which does not detract from the modernity of the services offered. The large breakfast room, featuring the ineffable Gargantua, can be split in two to create a fully equipped seminar room. Various staircases lead to the 25 rooms, plus two junior suites and a suite. The latter synthesizes all the charm of this hotel, by the generosity of the volumes, the rough aspect of the wood and the stone and the calm which reigns there.
The fortress and the town of Chinon, the castles of the Loire and the valley of the Vienne attract a tourist clientele to which is added the professional clientele, of the power station of Avoine for example. The Chinon train station is 900 square meters away and the TGV station in Saint Pierre des Corps is 45 minutes away. The shops and amenities of the city center are at the foot of the hotel.
