The house was built in 1910 by the University of Greifswald on the site of a previously burned down manor house. Inspired by the Tudor style, it is a typical manor house for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.The property is the only building on a plot of about 15,000 m², which appears park-like. Thus, about 7,000 m² of the property are forest area. From the back the property is not visible. On the front side, the balcony above the entrance area convinces with its stately far view. Only some treetops block the view of the gates of the Hanseatic city of Greifswald, which is about 6 km away. The building has been continuously renovated and maintained since 2011. Particular emphasis has been placed on restoring and preserving the charm of the stately home.It was possible to save some important details from the time of construction, such as parquet floors and the box windows on the front of the building. Heat is supplied by two centrally located ground stoves that are tangent to several rooms and also generate energy for wall heaters. Overall, it is an upscale facility. It is possible to purchase the mansion partially or fully furnished. On the first floor there are two residential units, which are entered through a spacious hallway through very beautiful double doors. Both apartments can also be used together. The entire area is on mezzanine level, which gives a very pleasant living feeling. The combination of old and modern makes your new real estate unique and yet contemporary. In the attic there is a rented apartment, which has been excluded from the renovation measures so far. The gorgeous balcony drastically increases the ideal value of the apartment. The building has a full basement, some basement rooms were originally used to house the house staff, currently the basement is used to manage the house (wood storage, workshop, storage area). The size of the house and the property allow you all possible uses.Renting allows the best possible retirement provision, self-use promises a life away from the hustle and bustle in the midst of nature. The accommodation of several generations is also conceivable. If you are looking for a manor house with historical character and upscale furnishings in the vicinity of the Hanseatic city of Greifswald between the islands of Rügen and Usedom, you have found it now.
