Beautiful large stand in one of the most popular streets in Rosendal in the Eastern Free State. This stand is across from Kestell Park, a green belt that borders the town. No one can build in front of you or block your view of the sunset over Schurwekop and the sunrise over the Witteberg. The land slightly rises to the stand's back and the elevation adds to the unhindered vistas. It is a birder's paradise during the rainy season, with several bird species flocking to the very small natural wetland in the bottom corner of the stand, next to the road. There is, however, more than enough space on the stand to build a house away from the natural wetland. It is within walking distance of the restaurants, art galleries, gift and curio shops and the wedding venue in town. The stand is ideal for a weekend house to get away from city life or to develop a guesthouse for wedding guests at the wedding venue. Rosendal, also fondly called the "hidden gem of the Eastern Free State, is home to several artists, writers, poets, creatives and people wanting to live close to nature in a small rural town. It is within three hours drive from Johannesburg and just under two from Bloemfontein.
