The old chapel of Colmare appeared in the 13th century with two windows and a rose window, distinctive of the time, then a second phase of construction was confirmed in the 17th century. In 1837, after having suffered dilapidation, it was restored thanks to the sale of a certain number of materials from the nave.
In 1970, the chapel was deconsecrated and sold at auction to become a home.
Its construction is made of bricks, flint and sandstone, as well as stained glass. It has a bell which tops the whole, a balcony and a remarkable garden. Additional buildings are also present on the property.
On the ground floor, once past the 80 cm thick wall, a living-dining room welcomes guests, facing a large fireplace equipped with a blower. The floors are paved with cabochons typical of the place. The shower room, decorated with pebbles in the style of the building, is functional, it is composed of a bathtub and a sink. A fairly basic kitchen, coupled with a utility room and boiler room, completes the ground floor.
Upstairs, at the top of a beautiful paving and wood staircase, there is a large bedroom with a view of the bell tower, with an extension of a second space to be converted into a bedroom or extra room. , with wooden balcony.
