Hotel and Travel
Anantara New York Palace
Our base for the 2024 Global Symposium is the stunning Anantara New York Palace, located on the Pest side of the Danube, on one of the city’s most important boulevards — perfect for taking in the city’s most fascinating sights and cultural attractions.
Located in the historical downtown of Budapest, Anantara New York Palace is an architectural ode to Europe’s Belle Époque. The building was opened in 1894 as the opulent European headquarters for the New York Life Insurance Company. The eclectic Belle Époque palace was designed by Alajos Hauszmann, a famous AustroHungarian architect, who drew on Italian Renaissance, Baroque, Gothic and Art Nouveau influences.
Wander the nearby Danube, then return to unwind in Old World glamour mixed with contemporary luxury. Mingle at New York Café, host to the city’s poets and artists for over a century, and enjoy 24-carat-gold coffee and cakes.
Deluxe Room
Guest rooms are cozy and bathed in warm, natural light. Spend the day sightseeing, then sink into a fluffy bed, regal armchair, or indulgent bath. The latest technology and a sleek desk ensure you can keep up with work and entertainment, perked up by fresh Nespresso coffee.
Rooms include complimentary high-speed WiFi, marble bathroom with bathtub, LED TV with international channels, individually controlled air conditioning, sustainable amenities, and more.

Budapest’s three railway stations–Keleti, Nyugati and Deli–are only a few stops by metro or tram.
Blaha Lujza Station, just around the corner from the hotel, is on the red metro line which travels east-west across the Danube. The station also serves as a hub for tram and bus lines.
